Click - Click *BOOM*

When it comes to photography in Second Life, I am a super noob. I really like clean contrast black and white images most of the time, but lately I've been trying to play with more color and backgrounds.

In theory, to me, bright and colorful is a great idea, but I am still more drawn to stark plain contrasting backgrounds when it comes to pictures I use on my blog. Like the ones you'll usually find when I'm showing off a store or item in particular.

There are so many great photographers and videographers on Second Life, and I really love youtube and flicker for finding this content and just drooling over it. Not only are there stunning views in world that these amazing talents can capture but it really is about lighting and that fine tuning as well that you do to your footage after you take the picture or video.

I'm still at the beginning stages of trying to figure out the best lighting in world to take pictures, the best angles and the camera functions and settings. Then, trying to find a balance of nice editing that compliments the picture I took and not just over run it with unnecessary color or texture.

These were just a couple I have played around with most recently, but I do have more on my flickr account which you are more than welcome to check out too, and hey, if you have any feedback or tips and tricks, I'd be happy to hear them.

In the meantime, I'll just keep chugging along. Because not only do I enjoy sharing cool or cheap things that I find in Second Life, I always enjoy making pretty things to look at too.
